County Weight Watchers Program

Effective 2012, Weight Watchers has launched an online registration and payment system for all Weight Watchers transactions, and now offers discounted monthly rates to County employees and family members for community and online programs.

For a list of current County worksites where onsite classes are offered, go to the County Weight Watchers web site (https://wellness.weightwatchers.com) or Employee Wellness Program monthly calendar (http://www.smcgov.org/hr/WellnessCalendar)

 

The Weight Watchers Monthly Card is $35.95 (2012)

The monthly card permits unlimited access to any class offered at a Weight Watchers community center and any County worksite class, if available. You can now attend Weight Watchers at the worksite (if available), or in Newark or San Jose, or on Saturdays, or in the evening and still be part of the County Weight Watchers Program!

50% Health Reimbursement is available for eligible County and Courts employees who are registered and have paid on the County Weight Watchers web site. To learn more, visit Health Reimbursement link on sidebar of Health and Fitness homepage.

When you register, be sure to include your worksite street address and zip code and check the box for “onsite classes”. Even if you are NOT interested, it helps justify offering a worksite class for your co-workers who DO want to attend class onsite.

Family members are welcome to take advantage of this special rate. To do so, they must register and pay online at the County Weight Watchers web site.

Online Program available for $17.95/month (2012)

If you do not want to attend classes but still want the benefits of a Weight Watchers Program, there is now an online program available for $17.95/month.

Health Reimbursement is not available at this time.
