Welcome to the Fourth District
![]() |
I’m Warren Slocum, the newly elected member of the San Mateo County Board of Supervisors from the 4th district. I was elected to office in the November 2012 election and assumed office on January 7, 2013 in a ceremony at the Fair Oaks Community Center in the heart of District 4. I am the last supervisor in this County to run “at-large” and be elected by all voters in the county, even though I reside in and represent the 4th district. My current term will expire in January of 2017. As a Supervisor, I welcome your ideas, questions and comments. I hope to hear from you as we tackle with the issues before us—whether it’s the implementation of the North Fair Oaks community plan, the efforts to resolve the flooding issues of San Francisquito Creek, the work of the Domestic Violence Council, the working plan for the Arts Council, or something altogether new. Just know - whatever the issue, my door is always open. My staff and I will continue to update this site to give you easy access to important resources, maps, information about upcoming events, issues, and more. And, if you like social media, visit and friend my Facebook site and Twitter account! I regularly post news and comments – big and small. If I can ever be of assistance to you, please feel free to contact me at your convenience. I can be reached at (650) 363-4570 or email me at wslocum@smcgov.org. Sincerely, Warren Slocum |
