Save A Life BrochureSAVE-A-LIFE PROGRAM

This Coroner's Program, with cooperation from the San Mateo County Juvenile Court and Probation Department, targets at-risk youth and juvenile offenders. Participants are required to attend classroom presentations and informational visits to the County's morgue facility.


VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES

 

Coroner's Amateur Radio Emergency TEAM (CARE) - Licensed HAM Radio Operators, experienced in Emergency Communications, are
invited to apply for the San Mateo County Coroner's Amateur Radio Emergency TEAM (CARE). Use your experience to assist with communications during an emergency or major disaster.

Coroner's Emergency Recovery TEAM (CERT) - San Mateo County Residents are invited to volunteer in assisting the Coroner's Office during a major disaster in San Mateo County. They will be trained in recovery and identification procedures. A ride-along program with an on-duty Deputy Coroner will be a part of the training.
