The Catering Connection provides on-the-job training opportunities for Vocational Rehabilitation Services clients who are interested in future employment in the culinary field. The Catering Connection has been serving local businesses since the mid 1980's. The Catering Connection is dedicated to serving the freshest possible foods for all your catering needs.
Whether you order a continental breakfast, one of our delicious gourmet entrees, or from other items from our menu, we're sure you'll be pleased with the quality of our food and the professional care with which we cater your event. We offer dependable, on time delivery and some of the friendliest and most helpful services personnel in the business. We also offer a variety of theme menus for your special occasions.
The Catering Connection staff (consisting of VRS clients) are taught and supervised by two talented and experienced chefs:
Art Martinez, Production Manager/Executive Chef: Art is a 15 year food service veteran with Executive Chef positions held at Lefty O'Doul's, The Hilton Hotels, Crystal Springs Country Club and Bubba Gump's, among others. Art's dedication to quality food, compassion and easygoing nature has made a positive impact on our operation.
Louis Ramos, Production Supervisor/Sous Chef: “Lou” has been an integral member of The Catering Connection for several years. His hard work, diligence and integrity have kept us moving forward and have resulted in creating positive outcomes for our clients.
