Vocational Rehabilitation Services (VRS) Job Developers and Job Coaches help VRS clients find jobs, a program known as Job Placement. Job developers create employment opportunities for clients by working closely with and partnering with employers in San Mateo County. Once a client is placed in a job they can be assigned a job coach.

Job coaches support VRS clients in maintaining employment. The job coach is vital in assisting the clients in employment success; it is through job coaching that many individuals have maintained employment and improved the quality of their lives. Job Developers and Job Coaches, or the Job Placement Team, provide a variety of services to both clients as well as employers within San Mateo County.

The Job Placement Team is made up of dedicated professionals who are knowledgeable in Vocational Rehabilitation Services.  They recognize that individual self-confidence and pride increase when VRS clients are employed and contributors to the community.
