Join the San Mateo County Park Trail Patrol

Trail Patrol volunteers assist Park rangers by hiking in County Parks to note safety issues along the trails. These volunteers also serve as park ambassadors by answering visitor questions, providing trail recommendations and hiking directions. Volunteer hours are flexible. This is a wonderful opportunity to hike the trails you love while helping San Mateo County Park rangers. Weed Warriors are combating invasive plants that threaten Edgewood Park and Natural Preserve. Volunteers meet every Wednesday evening and Friday mornings. Become a Host at the Bill and Jean Lane Education Center at Edgewood Park and Natural Preserve

Education Center volunteers engage guests in a way that maximizes the visitors' enjoyment and understanding of the Center, its exhibits, and Edgewood Natural Preserve. Volunteers new to Edgewood participate with the support of docents who are familiar with Edgewood and its natural history. Training is provided and flexible schedules are available.
