This area is approximately 2 acres in size with an asphalt and wood chip surface. Its surface slope varies from 0%-10%. The area is partly shady due to surrounding vegetation composed of redwood, doug fir, tan oak and huckleberry. Days are usually sunny, but can be cool and damp after sunfall. The site has room for 15 trailers or 15 tents and will seat 75 people. The bathroom and shower facilities are shared with Wurr Flat Camping Area #2. The facilitie includes a lighted barbeque area. Be cautious of poison oak just off the trails. Please contact the reservations desk for availability, fees, regulations and any questions you may have.
