When visiting the San Mateo County Association of Grand Juror's website, there is an abundance of information available to the public on the Grand jury system in California. The website not only presents an overview of information but also lists links to different websites to get a better understanding of the Grand Jury.

The great feature of the website is that it offers a wide variety of information on the Grand Jury System. There is a subject option on the navigation bar for "middle school unit of study" that compares the role of the > student body council to the responsibilities of the County Civil Grand Jury. The site tenders a great insight and interesting facts associated with the selection of 19 grand jurors who serve one year on a county civil grand jury. Every year there is about 1,102 grand jurors who serve on the 58 California County Civil Grand Juries primarily to oversight local government entities and school districts.

The website is an educational learning tool because it provides information on sundry court systems such as: the Criminal Grand Jury, the Civil Grand Jury, the Federal Grand Jury and Petit Courts. The San Mateo County Association of Grand Juror's website also enumerates the qualifications of becoming a juror, the important role of the grand juror and plenty of additional material pertinent to SMCAGJ.

The San Mateo County Association of Grand Juror's website was an educational benefit because it showed that there are people in the community willing to give their days to listen to citizens and help their county to improve.
