Spring Conference Meeting Minutes
Wednesday, March 18, 2015
2:00 p.m. – Call to Order
President Tami Douglas Schatz made opening remarks and welcomed all participants
to the Spring 2015 conference. Tami also thanked everyone for attending the
pre-conference credentialed CSAC Institute Class “Leadership and Change: Practices
to Move Organizations”. Tami thanked Donna Vaillancourt and San Mateo County for
preparing the binders and suggested that we continue to pursue “Going Green” for
future meetings.
Approval of Agenda
The agenda for the Spring 2015 meeting was approved unanimously. Tami asked if
there were any nominations for Associate or Affiliate members, none were offered.
Vice President’s Report
Vice President Martha Wilson announced that she would be retiring in two weeks and
would also be vacating the position of CPAAC Vice President. Martha stated that she
had enjoyed her time with CPAAC and said she “…would be back”.
Treasurer’s Report
No comments were offered by the Treasurer Suzanne Mason. An account summary was
provided which detailed that current balance was $44,375.92. During the period of
August 26, 2014 – February 25, 2015, there were Debits in the amount of $13,679.96 and
Credits in the amount of $7,300.00.
Secretary’s Report
Sign-in sheet and updated contact list were presented by Secretary, Michael Stock and
circulated for corrections by members. Please keep the Secretary updated with
changes so records and website are accurate.
Roundtable
There was a brief discussion on CSAC Institute courses offered at CPAAC Conferences.
The group provided input that these classes should be continued, that they are of great
value, cost effective, the subject matter is excellent and they are a good use of time
during the conference. A motion was made to continue funding these courses which
passed unanimously. This will be re-evaluated in 2016.
