 New Committee to select Unemployment Compensation – Master Agreement
    Vendor(s): Nancy Bronstein and Micki Callahan volunteered to lead this effort.
    All counties requested to send their TALX agreements to the committee for use in
    negotiations.

Nominating Committee Actions
The motions for nominations and rotations of Board officers for 2015 and 2016 as
discussed on September 16, 2015 were passed.

Approval of Minutes and Treasurer’s Report
The minutes from the Spring 2015 meeting and the Treasurer’s Report were approved.

Roundtable
A discussion was held regarding establishing protocols for Roundtable. The group
consensus was to keep the updates to five (5) minutes and to highlight only key
initiatives and challenges.

9:45a.m.    Presentation: There’s an App for That! San Mateo County
            Zhanna Abuel and Julie Goebel of San Mateo County presented on the
            development and roll out of its new mobile app for searching and
            accessing MOUs, policies and employee relations trainings. The team also
            addressed lessons learned from the project.

10:45 a.m.  Presentation: Conviction History Program, City and County of San
            Francisco
            Micki Callahan of City and County of San Francisco presented on the Fair
            Chance Ordinance and centralized Live Scan process designed to give
            those previously convicted of crimes fair access to employment.
